Jane Scaletta, DMCP, CIS
Jane Scaletta grew up in Jamaica and went to boarding school in England before moving to the United States in the late 70’s. Jane has worked in most travel and tourism disciplines while living in the US and Caribbean.
She was the Vice President of Entertainment for a dinner attraction with more than 13 different breeds of equine and over 60 staff. This experience has given Jane the ability to understand working with animals and wonderful human-beings who love the art of entertainment and the love of horses.
She worked with several incentive travel companies including Morris Travel in Utah, one of the largest agencies in the U.S.. She has traveled parts of the world with programs from Mexico, to the Caribbean, to Europe and continents of Africa and India.
She handled groups and events for a Convention and Visitors Bureau in the Mid-West of the U.S. representing 5 cities in 2 states. She also managed groups and events for a golf resort and villas in Central Florida.
She owned her own luxury yacht charter business in the Cayman Islands which grew to be one of the most successful charter businesses with two full-time yachts. Her most exciting role was as the Executive Director for the Cayman Islands Tourism Association serving the tourism members of Grand Cayman, Little Cayman and Cayman Brac.
Jane is an accomplished horsewoman, a second-degree black belt in karate, and passionate about performance automobiles, specifically Porsche. She loves to be involved in her industry and experience each destination to the fullest whether visiting or living there.
